The International MRC Competition is held under the supervision of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) and the Saudi Federation for Robotics and RC Sports, and is organized by Saudi Falcon Company, a specialized organization in designing and implementing educational programs in the fields of STEAM, robotics, and artificial intelligence.
The World Robot Olympiad is organized by the Hellenic Educational Robotics Organization, headquartered in the city of Heraklion on the island of Crete, Greece.
Objectives
-
The competition focuses on designing and programming intelligent robots, helping participants develop their technical skills.
-
Success in the competition requires cooperation and coordination among team members, enhancing communication, planning, and time-management skills.
-
MRC challenges do not have a single “correct” solution; therefore, students are encouraged to innovate and apply critical thinking to develop effective solutions.
-
The practical application of sciences — such as electricity, mechanics, programming, and mathematics — enables participants to gain a deeper understanding of what they learn in school.
